I made a mistake last night, it wasn’t a big one, but it was enough to have been noticeable, and I felt bad about it, because I knew that I had done something wrong.  As I looked back on it, I knew I shouldn’t have done it, even though I wasn’t sure what I had done.  How many of us have made mistakes, and we realize we have done something wrong, but sometimes we don’t realize what that mistake was.  Maybe we do realize what that mistake was, and we need to realize that we shouldn’t do it again.  We get frustrated, and angry for making those mistakes, we kick ourselves, and we beat ourselves up over it.

So to go back to the mistake that I made, I was messing around with this website last night, and I somehow hit a setting, or a code, or something, and not only did it mess up my blog page, but it also messed up the home page.  Thankfully this morning, I was able to call my tech guy, and he was able to come in, and fix it for me.  Though he did ask me this one question what did I do?  Alright now lets tie this all into a spiritual perspective, when we make mistakes, we can go to God, and we can ask him for forgiveness.  He will forgive us, most times, we know what we did was wrong, other times the Holy Spirit has to come in, and convict us.  God doesn’t have to ask us, what did you do, because He already knows what we did.

Though sometimes we need that conviction of the Holy Spirit to remind us, of what we did.  Like my tech guy, who was able to come in, and not yell at me, or scream his head off, like he could have, or shake his head (well maybe he was).  We have a loving and Caring Savior, who comes to us, and Loves us, when we sin, and will Forgive us, when we ask for that forgiveness.  Aren’t you glad that when we fall, and we skin our knees, or we scrape our elbows, God will come, and clean us up, and remind us how loving, caring, and forgiving He is.   1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
