God Still Heals

I have gone through many operations, 68 to be exact, yet every time I walked or wheeled into that operating room, I would get nervous, I was afraid, I had been concerned about what the outcome would be.  I didn’t even know the risks, because I was to young to know them, but I was still afraid.  Yet my parent’s were their right next to me, giving me comfort praying for me, telling me that everything was going to be okay.  My mom would even come into the operating room with me at times, and we would pray, and sometimes even sing together.  Now for those of you who know me, you know that I can’t sing.  Though I did it anyway, because it helped it reassured me to know that my parent’s were their for me.

Were all human, and we have the instinct to become afraid, be nervous, and that’s okay, that’s part of how we are.  Though God tells us that we should not be afraid, that we are not to be anxious, He tells us not to fear, he tells us to be strong and courageous He will not leave us or forsake us.  So next time you are going through something, or you are going through a health issue, and you have to go in for surgery, remember that God is with you, and He will be their for you, and He will heal you.

I have some health problems as well, and I have been praying for God to heal me, so that I don’t have to go for another test, or even another possible surgery.  I know that God is still in the miracle working business and that He can heal me.  Sometimes the answers that we want, are not always what He wants to happen.  Though I will know that if I do have to go for the surgery that God will be their right next to me, and that He will heal, and help me through this situation.  So next time you are going through something, whatever that might be, remember that God is with you, right next to you, wherever you go.
