It is Well

Horatio Spafford, is behind the song, It is Well, he wrote the song, while travel overseas to Europe, right at the spot he had lost his daughters.  Romans 8:28, says and we know that God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.   Even with that verse, I don’t know about you, but I am not sure, if I could say It is well with my Soul, with my daughters, or family members or friends passing away suddenly.  I do know that God is there no matter what we go through, and that although we don’t always understand why things happen He does.  Psalms 46:1-3, God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble. 2 And so we need not fear even if the world blows up and the mountains crumble into the sea. 3 Let the oceans roar and foam; let the mountains tremble!

We have to remember that although situations, and trials are hard, God is our refuge and strength, and He is our help, when times of troubles come.  He is our help whatever the situation is, but more so, when troubles come.  I have been through a lot of troubles in my life, though it’s not always an easy thing to realize that God is there with you.  Though I am glad that God is there for us, and that we can go to him, when we are facing situations.  If you are going through a difficult situation today, now that God is with you, and that He can help you through the situation.  Through the situation, you can say It is Well with My Soul.
